Researchers compared Rose Mary oil to an effective drug for Hypertension and hair loss.

This drug is referred to as, “ Minoxidil.”

Results show that Rosemary oil was more effective than Minoxidil.

3. Grape seed oil:

This oil is gotten from grape seeds.

Grape see oil might help foster hair growth and prevent hair loss.

Grape seed oil contains a substance called, “ Proanthocyanidins.”

During this research, the compound above was seen to be effective in promoting hair growth.

This research was however carried out using mice.

4. Castor Oil:

This is extracted from Castor plants( I.e. the seeds).

Castor oil might be able to prevent hair loss and promote hair growth.

Prostaglandin D2 is a protein which causes hair loss. This occurs due to its ability to destroy hair follicles.

According to this study, Ricinoleic acid found in Castor oil can weaken the protein above.

Castor oil is made up of about 90% Ricinoleic aid, according to this study.
