A digital marketing executive is responsible for developing and implementing online marketing strategies to promote products or services and drive engagement, conversion, and brand awareness for our business. Here are some necessary requirements for this role:
1. Education and Qualifications:
– A bachelor’s degree or HND in marketing, business, communications, or a related field is preferred but not compulsory.
– Certifications in digital marketing tools or platforms, such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, HubSpot, Facebook Blueprint, or others, are beneficial.
2. Digital Marketing Knowledge:
– Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts, including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, content marketing, email marketing, influencer marketing, and more.
– Familiarity with various digital marketing platforms and tools used for campaign management, analytics, and reporting.
3. Analytical Skills:
– Ability to analyze data, interpret metrics, and draw actionable insights to optimize marketing campaigns and strategies.
– Proficiency in using web analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, to track and measure performance.
4. Creativity:
– Creative thinking to develop compelling and engaging content for various digital channels.
– Ability to come up with innovative ideas for campaigns and promotions.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The responsibilities of the digital marketing executive will be overseen by a higher digital marketing officer and here are some necessary responsibilities to note:
1. Search Engine Optimization (SEO):
– Optimize website content and structure to improve organic search rankings and increase visibility on search engines.
– Conduct keyword research and implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies.
– Link building.
2. Digital Strategy Development:
– Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with business goals.
2. Social Media Management:
– Plan, schedule, and create content for social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
– Monitor social media channels, engage with the audience, and respond to comments and messages.
4. Pay-Per-Click (PPC) Advertising:
– Develop and manage paid advertising campaigns using platforms like Google Ads, Bing Ads, or social media ad platforms.
– Monitor campaign performance, adjust budgets, and optimize ad targeting for better results.
5. Content Creation and Marketing:
– Create engaging and relevant content for blogs, articles, infographics, videos, and other formats.
– Develop content calendars and distribute content across various digital channels.
6. Email Marketing:
– Plan and execute email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and engage with existing customers.
– Segment email lists, create compelling content, and analyze campaign results.
7. Website Management:
– Regularly update website content, ensuring it’s accurate, relevant, and user-friendly.
– Monitor website performance using analytics tools and make improvements based on data.
8. Analytics and Reporting:
– Track and analyze digital marketing campaigns using tools like Google Analytics to measure performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
– Prepare regular reports on key performance metrics and present findings to stakeholders.
9. Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO):
– Identify areas of the website and marketing campaigns that can be optimized to increase conversions.
– Implement A/B testing and other CRO techniques to improve conversion rates.
10. Influencer and Affiliate Marketing:

– Manage relationships with affiliates and track performance of affiliate marketing programs.

QUALIFICATION:
BSc / HND in Business, communications, or marketing-related Courses.
Must have completed NYSC with discharge certificate at the date of application.
